New York, NY (May 17, 2012) — The national law firm of Epstein Becker Green today announced that Sheila A. Woolson, a seasoned litigator in the firm's Newark office, has been invited to join the International Association of Defense Counsel ("IADC"). Founded in 1920, the IADC is an invitation-only professional association comprised of leading corporate and insurance attorneys who are recognized by their peers as preeminent practitioners in their field.

"I am honored to be selected for membership in the IADC, and look forward to joining fellow members and distinguished commercial litigators from around the world," said Ms. Woolson, a Member of the Firm in the Litigation and Labor and Employment practices at Epstein Becker Green.

Ms. Woolson regularly draws upon her pharmaceutical industry experience and training as a chemist in the representation of clients in matters involving environmental disputes and products liability claims, including toxic tort and property contamination cases. She has also handled an array of employment litigation and commercial contact disputes concerning indemnification, lease termination, credit derivative swaps, tax sale certificates, and restrictive covenants, among others. In addition to authoring a variety of articles on legal issues of interest to those facing complex litigation matters, Ms. Woolson is also a participant in the Epstein Becker Green Women's Initiative and the firm's Toxic Tort, ERISA, and Health Care Litigation groups.
