New York, NY (December 3, 2013) — The national law firm of Epstein Becker Green today announced that Robert Hudock and Kevin Ryan were elected as Shareholders in its National Health Care and Life Sciences practice.

Hudock, based in the firm's Washington, D.C., office, has been at the forefront of data privacy and security for the last 13 years. He regularly advises leading financial and health institutions, as well as innovative startup companies, on identifying, evaluating, and improving the security posture and mission critical processes of their organizations.

Ryan, based in the firm's Chicago office, advises for-profit and not-for-profit businesses on a variety of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and maintenance of tax-exempt status. He counsels clients on day-to-day, operational issues such as the negotiation and drafting of managed care agreements, physician employment agreements, licensing agreements, and management services agreements. In addition, he counsels clients on state and federal regulatory issues, including HIPAA, anti-kickback, physician-self referral, change of ownership, corporate practice of medicine, and licensure of mid-level practitioners.

"Robert and Kevin provide our clients with focused insight and deliver high-quality service and results. Their commitment, dedication, firm citizenship, and willingness to go over and beyond the call of duty place them in a unique league. We look forward to their continuing contributions to the success of our firm," said Mark Lutes, Chair-Elect of the firm's Board of Directors and a Member of the Firm in the Health Care and Life Sciences practice in the Washington, D.C., office.
