New York, NY (March 16, 2011) — The national law firm of Epstein Becker Green today announced that, following the devastating earthquake and tsunami that struck the northern region of Japan on March 11, it will make a donation to the Japan Earthquake Relief Fund, established by the Japan Society. In addition, the firm will coordinate donations from employees who want to give to the fund individually.
The Japan Earthquake Relief Fund has been established by the Japan Society to support relief and recovery efforts in communities affected by the earthquake and tsunami. One hundred percent of the tax-deductible contributions will support the work of organizations that are currently on the ground in Japan and helping survivors.
