Los Angeles, CA (August 8, 2023) Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is pleased to announce the arrival of Andrew Lichtenstein as a Member of the Firm in the Employment, Labor & Workforce Management practice in Los Angeles. He joins EBG from O’Melveny on the heels of recent West Coast additions in Oregon with a group of six attorneys in Portland last month. Lichtenstein’s hire adds to the firm’s strong West Coast labor and employment presence in Los Angeles.

“Andrew exemplifies the type of full-service employment law proficiency at the foundation of EBG’s West Coast growth strategy,” said David W. Garland, Chair of the firm’s national Employment, Labor & Workforce Management Steering Committee. “As state and local governments continue to enact laws that put a remarkable strain on employers across the country—but particularly in California—attorneys like Andrew with the necessary experience to provide defense in the courtroom and advice in the boardroom are extraordinarily valuable to our clients.”

Lichtenstein’s practice covers the full spectrum of labor and employment issues affecting employers, from complex litigation to practical strategic support. He defends employers in discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination lawsuits, wage and hour class and representative actions, government investigations and enforcement proceedings, trade secrets disputes, and labor disputes under collective bargaining agreements. Lichtenstein is a fierce defender of employers in high-stakes labor and employment litigation, as well as an essential advisor to employers in navigating the challenges of wage and hour compliance and litigation and reputational exposure. His clients have included large tech, media, and pharmaceutical companies; private universities; and airlines.

“EBG is a natural fit given its bench of effective, results-oriented labor and employment attorneys,” said Lichtenstein. “The firm’s platform, which combines the resources of its Los Angeles office with highly focused practitioners in offices throughout the United States, offers the right collaborative environment to elevate my practice.”
