… Members Courtney McFate and Rishi Puri along with associate Carlie Bacon joined Epstein Becker on Monday after spending three and a half years, seven and a half years and eight months, respectively, at Lane Powell, according to their LinkedIn pages.

"The collective experience of these impressive attorneys — in labor and employment matters spanning from Seattle to San Diego — is a powerful combination of litigation, compliance, and advice and counsel that equips the firm to adeptly navigate our clients' increasingly complex matters, especially on the West Coast," employment committee Chair David W. Garland said in a statement.

McFate told Law360 Pulse on Thursday that they decided to join Epstein Becker because of the firm's large platform with a wide array of practice offerings, while Puri added that the firm's nationwide attorney network allows them to better serve their clients' multijurisdictional needs.

"Our clients' needs have become increasingly sophisticated, with a national focus, particularly in terms of compliance, wage-and-hour class actions, and restrictive covenants such as noncompetes, so joining a platform like EBG’s was a natural evolution of our practices," she said. "As a national firm, EBG allows us to provide our clients with deep expertise and tailored resources to fulfill their needs, which was of utmost priority in our move."
