Bradley Merrill Thompson, a Member of the Firm in the Health Care and Life Sciences practice, in the firm’s DC office, was quoted in Bloomberg BNA’s Health Care Daily Report, in “Device Industry May Seek Product Review Changes.”
Following is an excerpt:
Bradley Merrill Thompson, an attorney with Epstein Becker & Green PC in Washington, told Bloomberg BNA July 10 that the combination products industry is interested in some reforms. Thompson is also the general counsel of the Combination Product Coalition (CPC), an industry group.
The CPC wants the FDA to streamline the product review process, especially for some low-risk products, Thompson said.
In addition, Thompson said the CPC is interested in seeing the relationship among the various FDA centers that review combination products “sorted out much more clearly than it currently is.”
