Epstein Becker Green added a four-person health care construction group in Nashville, Tennessee, and a health care patent attorney to its Ohio offices in a continuation of its drive to expand its health care and life sciences practice, the firm announced. …

Dunn told Law360 on Wednesday that he and his colleagues chose to join the firm because of the strength of its health care and regulatory practices along with its nationwide operations.

"I've known Epstein Becker for a very long time because of the caliber of its health care practice," he said. "They also have a significant presence in Washington, D.C., in that field among other places and we also have a good connection to lawyers who are very capable in health care regulatory matters. The depth and breadth of their bench was very attractive to me and my colleagues." …

"Construction in the health care space is really unique because other than nuclear energy and major utility construction, it's the most regulated form of construction in the U.S," he said. "It's done both on federal and state levels, and each state has very different laws and regulations regarding health care projects." …

Along with the addition of the Nashville construction group, Epstein Becker also hired health care patent attorney Gregory Krabacher to its Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio, offices as a member. ...
