New York, NY (September 2, 2010) — National law firm Epstein Becker Green is pleased to announce that Katherine Rollins Lofft, a prominent business law attorney, has joined as a Member of the Firm in the Business Law practice in the Washington, D.C., office.
Lofft is a former Senior Vice President and General Counsel (Commercial Finance) for GE Healthcare Financial Services in Bethesda, Md. Her principal areas of focus are in commercial financing, including asset-based and asset-backed secured credit facilities, working capital facilities, acquisition financings, leveraged recapitalizations, real estate financings, equipment leases, debtor-in-possession and exit financings, capital markets transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
“Katherine has a proven track record of helping clients manage risk, create efficiencies and reduce expenses,” said Robert Reif, Chair of the Firm’s Business Law practice and Managing Shareholder of the Washington, D.C., office. “Her addition to our team will be an easy one as she shares our goals of providing exceptional client service and maximum value for each client.”
While at GE, Lofft focused on capital facilities, acquisition financings, capital markets transactions, and debtor-in-possession and exit financing.
