Following is an excerpt:

Kathleen Premo has joined Epstein Becker as a member based in Tampa and St. Petersburg, Florida, following a career of advising health care organizations and their leaders.

Premo’s work has included advising providers on Medicare Advantage, transactions and other matters related to structuring and pay. Most recently, she ran her own advising firm, Premo Advisors PLLC, but she has also been general counsel of JSA Healthcare Corp., a health care and employment attorney at Shriners Hospitals for Children, and a compliance and regulatory attorney at Eckerd Corp.

“Joining Epstein Becker Green is a win-win-win for my clients, the firm, and my own professional goals,” she said in a statement. “The added resources and bench strength from the firm add capacity and connections that my clients will benefit from tremendously. In addition, my prior in-house experience and deep health care business experience, along with my Florida network, will add further depth to the firm’s capabilities.”

Premo earned her law degree at the University of Minnesota Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Iowa.
