New York, NY (April 18, 2011) — The national law firm of Epstein Becker Green today announced that John F. Fullerton III has joined as a Member of the Firm in the National Labor and Employment Practice in the New York office.

Fullerton, previously with Sullivan & Cromwell, focuses his practice on litigation, arbitration and mediation of discrimination, wage and hour, restrictive covenant/non-compete and wrongful termination claims; labor relations and collective bargaining; and corporate transactional advice on labor and employment issues. He has represented, counseled and litigated on behalf of employers in state and federal court and before administrative agencies such as the National Labor Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the New York State Department of Labor. He has substantial experience in the financial, real estate, and building service industries.

"As a respected labor and employment attorney with impeccable credentials and experience that includes two renowned firms and a federal clerkship, John fits perfectly on our team," said Allen Roberts, Managing Shareholder of the New York office. "When presented with the opportunity to bring John aboard, we realized how he represents immediate benefit to colleagues and clients and moves us along in attaining longer term strategic objectives."

Fullerton said, "I jumped at the chance to join EBG's nationally recognized and highly regarded labor and employment practice. I am confident that the firm's stellar reputation, broad client base and impressive line-up of experienced and supportive attorneys will enable me to achieve my goal of growing my practice in both the traditional labor and general employment law space."

Jay P. Krupin, Chair of the National Labor and Employment Practice Steering Committee, said, "Every company is impacted by labor and employment issues on a daily basis. As our practice continues to grow, we are always on the lookout for talented attorneys such as John who can help our clients navigate these complex and ever-changing labor and employment laws."

Fullerton is also an adjunct professor of law at Pace University School of Law, where he has taught classes in labor law and advanced appellate advocacy and serves as the faculty advisor to the law school's National Moot Court team. He is a member of the board of advisors of the Center for Labor and Employment Law at New York University School of Law. He has been recognized as a leading lawyer in labor and employment law by The Best Lawyers in America from 2007-2011 and by New York Super Lawyers from 2007-2010.
