Sarah Hall, Member of the Firm, speaks on a panel, "Fraud & Abuse, Compliance, and Consumer Protection in Long-Term Care," at the Innovations in Healthy Aging 2022 Summit, hosted by the University of Arizona Health Sciences.

Older adults are at risk from the rise of predatory consumer practices, extending from classic “con-men,” sham phone calls, and online scams, to experiencing financial harm in a range of settings, including assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. This panel comprises industry leaders, senior government officials, and regulatory and investigatory counsel to discuss the various roles of the government and the public to protect against common threats to an older population, along with sharing best practices and resources.
