The purpose of this webinar is to identify best practices for being better prepared in the event the Medicare or Medicaid programs come knocking at your company's doorstep. This includes how to get your company employees prepared for such Government touches as well as being able to recognize the different types of government touches that are likely to occur. The government often makes both formal and informal requests for information but all responses by your company need to be done in a formal way to protect your interests.

for information that a DME supplier may receive from the government - To educate the audience on the differences between the various types of
requests and differences between the government agencies - To explain when it is appropriate for a company to respond to requests directly,
and when it is appropriate for a company to retain outside counsel who will
handle responding to requests on behalf of the company - To explain the best practices for ensuring the accuracy of communications with
the government and ensuring that such communications are appropriately
archived (especially when company is responding to government directly).
