Newark, NJ (January 24, 2022) – Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is pleased to announce the arrival of Glenn P. Prives as a Member of the Firm in the Health Care & Life Sciences practice. Glenn offers strategic counsel for health care providers and corporate clients to navigate strict regulatory requirements.
Glenn represents a wide variety of health care organizations, including hospitals and health systems, physician groups, surgery centers, laboratories, telemedicine companies, behavioral health centers, health care management companies, and health care investors. He brings more than 12 years of experience representing clients within the health care industry on issues related to hospital-physician alignment, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, health care information technology, integrated delivery systems, fraud and abuse, HIPAA, compliance, and the corporate practice of medicine.
“Glenn’s myriad of experience in health care and his extensive time spent counseling health care clients on strategic transactions will arm our firm with an additional, skilled resource as the industry and our team remains as busy as ever,” said George B. Breen, Chair of EBG’s National Health Care & Life Sciences Steering Committee. “We’re thrilled to welcome a counselor of his caliber to EBG and believe his drive to help clients navigate this competitive M&A economy is a perfect match for our firm.”
A health care industry thought leader, Glenn is a Chambers USA-ranked health care attorney (2021), and he lectures and writes frequently on health care industry issues and general business topics for both local and national audiences. In addition to his experience in health care, Glenn advises corporate clients in mergers and acquisitions across industries. He was recently named to New Jersey Law Journal’s 2021 list of “New Leaders of the Bar,” the publication’s annual listing of outstanding attorneys under the age of 40 practicing in New Jersey.
“I’m honored to join EBG’s team to support a community of lawyers that share the same passion for health policy and the industry’s evolution,” said Glenn. “For me, joining a firm that has a focus on health care and extensive experience in M&A and regulatory issues is the best of both worlds. I look forward to growing my practice alongside EBG’s talented team.”
Glenn’s arrival in the firm’s Newark, New Jersey office follows other recent Health Care & Life Sciences additions, including health care attorney and commercial litigator Robert Hearn in Florida, and Sarah Hall in Washington, DC, who was previously a white collar defense attorney and former prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Division. Additionally, EBG is also expanding in new markets, including Columbus, OH, where it has recently welcomed 20 attorneys.
