Chicago, IL (November 2, 2022)Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is pleased to announce that health care and corporate law attorney Jayme R. Matchinski has joined as a Member of the Firm in Chicago. She joins the firm’s Health Care & Life Sciences practice, where she will focus her efforts on counseling physicians and health care systems in the licensure, certification, and legal and reimbursement structuring of post-acute venues of care.

“Jayme brings to EBG an impressive track record of providing client solutions in regulatory compliance, reimbursement, and an array of other issues affecting health care providers,” said Amy K. Dow, Vice Chair of EBG’s National Health Care & Life Sciences Steering Committee who is based in the firm’s Chicago office. EBG’s Chair, Mark Lutes, added that “Jayme’s vast experience in matters concerning both health care transactions and telehealth provides an excellent match for our short- and long-term objectives in growing our firm’s capabilities in Chicago and nationally.”

A former vice president of a national health care consulting firm, Jayme has represented health care providers in reimbursement claims against insurance carriers and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

With a particular concentration in the area of sleep medicine, Jayme is an author in the “Legal Notes” column in A2Zzz Magazine, a publication of the American Association of Sleep Technologists. She covers regulatory, reimbursement, compliance, operational, and contract issues that could potentially impact sleep disorder centers.

“In EBG, I see a firm that is driven to the cutting edge, helping its broad range of health care clients tackle regulatory and technological issues in new and complex ways,” said Jayme. “I’m eager to join this community of lawyers, and their far-reaching network of regulators and decision-makers in Washington, DC, to broaden the possibilities for my clients and the firm.”

Jayme’s dedication to various vocational and social causes demonstrates that her people-first approach goes beyond her professional life: She serves on the Board of Directors for the Illinois chapter of the Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH), works with the Heartland Alliance for Human Needs & Human Rights, and is Past Chair of the National Council of the Valparaiso University School of Law. She was recently honored in Crain’s Chicago Business’s 2022 Women in Law distinctions.
