Susan Gross Sholinsky and Gretchen Harders, Members of the Firm, and Erin Sutton, Associate, co-present "From Roe to Dobbs: Changes to Reproductive Health Care Operations and What’s on the Horizon for Employers," hosted by the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation (WBL).

Health care organizations—including providers and companies whose products and services are used in the delivery of reproductive and fertility care—have spent the past several months navigating the myriad issues arising from the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization and the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

State legislative changes, enforcement actions, and legal challenges continue to complicate the landscape around provision of reproductive health care. In their role as employers, health care organizations face significant challenges in maintaining compliance with conflicting and overlapping federal and state laws.

This webinar is a follow up to the presentation that took place on January 18, 2023.

Panelists discuss:

  • Best practices for employers addressing their employees’ access to reproductive health care, including travel benefits for health care services.
  • Employment law issues around the Dobbs decision, including potential discrimination claims, the applicability of paid and/or protected leave laws for obtaining an abortion or supporting a family member in doing so, and off-duty conduct and speech concerns.
