Newark, NJ (July 9, 2018) – Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is pleased to announce that Tzvia Feiertag has joined as a Member of the Firm in the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice, in the Newark office. Ms. Feiertag has worked exclusively in the area of employee benefits for more than 16 years, advising Fortune 500 companies, other public and private companies, and not-for-profit organizations on all aspects of employee benefit plans and Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Internal Revenue Code, the Affordable Care Act, HIPAA, and COBRA compliance. She joins the firm from Marathas Barrow Weatherhead Lent, where she was a partner, and, before that, she practiced at Proskauer Rose.

In addition to her experience regarding benefit plan design and compliance with various laws and regulations addressing plan administration, Ms. Feiertag regularly advises clients on the potential impact of mergers and acquisitions on employee benefits, and assists with plan terminations and integrations.

“Tzvia brings many years of focused experience that ranges from day-to-day operation of employee benefit plans to assisting clients with the design, structure, and implementation of their plans, as well as a deep understanding of benefits laws,” said David W. Garland, Chair of the firm’s National Employment, Labor & Workforce Management Steering Committee. “In an environment of changing laws and regulations, her thorough knowledge in these areas will help our clients remain compliant as they develop benefit plans that provide value to their employees.”

“Joining a firm with a great client base and a strong bench of attorneys who advise clients on all areas of management-side labor and employment law is a wonderful opportunity, and I look forward to providing added employment benefits experience to the firm’s capabilities and to collaborating with my new colleagues across the firm,” said Ms. Feiertag.
