WSSHA was founded in 1973. It is operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes, to provide an opportunity for legal advisors in the health field to meet and exchange information and ideas, to conduct legal seminars of interest to such attorneys, and to provide a central agency for the exchange of legal information in the health field.
