Peter A. Steinmeyer and Zachary C. Jackson, Members of the Firm, will join in presenting "When Cyberspace Is Home to Your Company's Most Valuable Assets: Protecting Trade Secrets and Other Confidential Information, and Ensuring Data Security in the Digital Age."
Digital media have changed the workplace. While that change has presented opportunities for greater efficiency and lower costs, it has also provided new challenges. Surveys show that departing employees are increasingly using digital electronic devices to leave their jobs with some of their employers' most valuable assets — client lists, marketing plans, and other proprietary data. Speakers will discuss this change and the concrete policies and practices employers should have in place now to minimize the risk of losing their vital property to a departing employee.
Attendance is complimentary, but limited to
ACC members, prospective ACC members, and guests of the sponsor.
