Amy Lerman, Associate, co-presents "Strategies for Avoiding and Responding to Health Care Fraud and Abuse Claims," a telephone seminar and webcast hosted by the American Law Institute.

The faculty will explore current regulatory issues and litigation trends affecting how health care providers, hospitals, and health systems manage business in the current health care enforcement environment. The faculty will review key issues related to the federal Anti-Kickback Statute (“AKS”) and the federal physician self-referral law (“Stark Law”), as well as share best practices on dealing with government inquiries and compliance strategies to help clients avoid enforcement scrutiny.
