Gretchen Harders, Member of the Firm, joins a panel discussion, "Five Years Since Birth - the Affordable Care Act in Practice," at Employment Law 2015, hosted by the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA). 

This panel will focus on the basics of the ACA and address current issues including the interaction of the employer mandate and ERISA §510; COBRA obligations and interaction with obtaining coverage through state sponsored exchanges; the future of the federal subsidy benefit in light of the Kingcase pending before the U.S. Supreme Court; tax implications for those who did not obtain insurance; and reduced federal funding for hospitals and other medical providers.
