This panel discusses the fundamentals of restrictive covenants and the laws that govern them.

Participants learn to:

  • Understand what noncompete agreements, nonsolicitation agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and the other types of restrictive covenants are, and what standards apply
  • Learn what each agreement may and can protect, and what they may not or cannot protect
  • Know how to review a restrictive covenant agreement to determine its likely enforceability
