Jack Wenik, Member of the Firm, moderates "Supplement Scene 2025: Enforcement, Litigation, and Labeling Regulations" at the Food and Drug Law Institute (FDLI) Enforcement, Litigation, and Compliance Conference, which runs from December 4 to 5.
This panel will focus on the growing complexity of FDA enforcement in the dietary supplement space, where discretionary action often sets the tone. Topics will include litigation as a form of enforcement, evolving issues around product labeling claims, and FDA’s increased attention to supplements. Panelists will also examine the agency’s stance on homeopathic products, litigation challenging FDA’s use of the drug preclusion clause, and the regulatory uncertainty around novel product formats like pouch-based supplements.
Jack also serves on the Planning Committee of the conference. Focused on the drug, device, food, and tobacco industries, the conference brings together industry, regulators, attorneys, litigators, academics, and consultants and other stakeholders to discuss trends and issues in enforcement and compliance, the latest developments in both civil and criminal litigation, and recent cases and settlements.
