Gregory Keating, Member of the Firm, will co-present the keynote, "Reporting and Retaliation: Behind the Numbers," at the Ethics & Compliance Initiative (ECI) Impact 2021, which runs from April 20 to 22.
Two research studies have revealed some surprising and critical insights about reporting and retaliation in workplaces across the globe. This session will draw on deep and broad experience of researchers and thought leaders to explore the potential reasons for the findings and implications for organizations. On the one hand, they will discuss recently published research suggesting that firms that actively encourage internal reporting are actually healthier organizations in material ways. They will also discuss the alarming findings that when employees come forward to report, detrimental retaliation results.
