Health reform has resulted in numerous changes that affect every health care provider. Recognizing these changes and understanding their impact is essential for (1) maintaining regulatory compliance, (2) budgeting for changes in government reimbursements, and (3) avoiding increased government scrutiny. 2012 will bring significant changes for health care providers. Understanding these changes will enable health care providers to properly adapt to the changes that resulted from health reform.
