The panel will present an in-depth look at the new guidance promulgated by the U.S. Department of Justice's (DOJ’s) Criminal Fraud Section, “Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs," which is the most comprehensive compliance guidance released to date by the DOJ and serves as a roadmap for evaluating a corporation’s compliance efforts. The Topic and Question format of the guidance provides insight into the factors considered by DOJ in making the determination whether to bring charges or otherwise resolve healthcare and other white collar investigations.
