Princeton, NJ (May 4, 2022)Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is pleased to announce that Theodora (Teddy) McCormick, Member of the Firm in the Litigation & Business Disputes practice, was recognized as a “2022 Trailblazing Policy Maker” by the Executive Women of New Jersey (EWNJ).

Teddy was selected for inclusion among New Jersey’s most influential and accomplished women leaders and recognized “for her trailblazing professional achievements and efforts towards advancing women’s leadership.” All honorees were celebrated at EWNJ’s signature biennial gala, Salute to the Policy Makers, an event which also commemorated the organization’s 40-year anniversary.

“Thank you, EWNJ, for including me in this list of such distinguished women,” said Teddy. “It is an honor and an achievement I am incredibly proud of, especially as I reflect on my career and the many milestones along the way. Thank you, EBG, for continuing to support me and our women attorneys’ personal and professional development.”

“I am very proud that my friend and close colleague has earned such notable recognition, taking her place among New Jersey’s most accomplished women leaders in business, government, academia, and the legal industry,” said James P. Flynn, Managing Director of EBG. “Teddy is a talented attorney who always keeps clients’ goals and objectives front and center, whether she is on trial or helping her clients avoid litigation; she is a problem solver, works hard to find common ground with her adversaries, and strives to diffuse difficult and emotional situations. She is an example to her peers as well as a role model to our more junior attorneys, and we are proud to support her.”

Salute to the Policy Makers funds EWNJ’s various programs and initiatives aimed at advancing women’s leadership and supporting equity in the workplace. Most notably, it benefits the organization’s Graduate Merit Award Program, which provides scholarships to women who are non-traditional graduate students with the goal of establishing a pipeline of future women leaders. As the largest provider of scholarships to women who are non-traditional graduate students in New Jersey, EWNJ has provided tuition assistance to nearly 350 women graduate students at New Jersey colleges and universities over the last 30+ years.

About Executive Women of New Jersey

EWNJ’s mission is to ensure that women have equal opportunities and representation in senior corporate leadership. Through our mentor program and our Graduate Merit Award Program, we are seeking to establish a pipeline for future women leaders to excel and flourish in corporate spaces. We are the largest provider of scholarships to women who are non-traditional graduate students in New Jersey.

In support of our mission, we publish a biennial report on the number of women on boards and in the senior governance of publicly traded companies in New Jersey. This report is the only one of its kind in the state. We also host events to build connections and amplify our work. To learn more about EWNJ, visit www.ewnj.org.
