Epstein Becker Green’s 2019 Telemental Health Laws survey and analysis of telehealth access legislation was featured in MobiHealthNews’ year-end roundup, “Year in Review – A Look Back at the Big News and Trends Emerging In 2019.”

An article discussing our annual state-by-state breakdown of behavioral telehealth services coverage and featuring quotes from Amy F. Lerman andFrancesca R. Ozinal, co-authors of the survey, titled “Annual Nationwide Survey Reports Increasing Telehealth Access Legislation, Bipartisan Support,” by Dave Muoio, has been selected as one of ten news items featured in the year-end roundup.

Following is an excerpt:

In December, MobiHealthNews is taking a step back to examine the emerging trends and biggest news of 2019. So-called “new entrances to health” among tech and retail giants continue to make waves in the industry, and we are also seeing an increase interest from pharma. Overall, the digital health industry also continues to see a healthy funding pot; however, it remains slightly slower than last year. There is no denying that 2019 has been a busy year — and as for 2020, only time will tell what's next.
