New York, NY (May 10, 2018) – Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is pleased to announce that the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) has elected Karl Riehl, EBG’s Director of Legal Recruitment and Professional Development for the New York office, to its Board of Directors. NALP is an association of more than 2500 legal career professionals who advise law students, lawyers, law offices, and law schools.

During Mr. Riehl’s two-year term, he will help support NALP’s mission of promoting diversity and inclusion within the legal profession, establishing ethical and fair hiring practices, and ensuring that lawyers and law students have opportunities for professional development.

“I am honored to have been chosen to serve as a member of NALP’s Board of Directors and look forward to working with an amazing group of people to advance NALP’s commitment to fairness, facts, and the power of a diverse legal community,” said Mr. Riehl.

Mr. Riehl has been a member of NALP since 2002 and has been part of the Annual Education Conference and the Diversity Summit planning teams and was a vice-chair of the LGBT section. He has been a speaker at multiple NALP conferences on various topics within professional development and recruiting and on issues affecting the LGBT Community. Mr. Riehl is also the former president and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the LGBT Bar Association & Foundation of Greater New York (LeGaL). He joined EBG in 2011 and earned his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.
