Epstein Becker Green (“EBG”) is proud to support Feed the Children with a donation to feed families impacted by the pandemic in its communities. On behalf of our clients, we have sponsored a “No Hunger Holidays” truck to provide non-perishable food (including canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, pasta, peanut butter, and more) to help supplement a family’s meals for up to a week, as well as a variety of hygiene items (such as shampoo, conditioner, lotion, personal-care items, and feminine dignity packages), to a community impacted by the pandemic.
Feed the Children partnered with EBG and The Salvation Army of Central Maryland to provide 400 Baltimore families each with a 25-pound box of food and a 10-pound box of daily essentials, as well as an assortment of books.
This year will surely be the hungriest holiday season on record as the effects of COVID-19 continue to reverberate through our most vulnerable communities. The items provided aim to bring relief to those who are struggling now.
No Hunger Holidays is a campaign designed to feed families during the holidays, as well as bring awareness to the important issue of childhood hunger. This year’s unparalleled economic suffering will affect the most vulnerable families the most severely as temperatures drop this winter. Feed the Children works with many corporate and community partners, volunteers and donors to make sure families receive much-needed food and daily essentials just in time for the holiday season.

Last year, Feed the Children distributed more than 68.6 million pounds of food and essential items to 4.7 million deserving children and families including communities struck by natural disasters. The organization is also committed to supporting education: in 2019, more than $4.7 million worth of educational supplies and books were given to teachers and students across the U.S.
