Diversity Lab announced Tuesday that over 160 large law firms have received the fifth iteration of its Mansfield Certification, which measures the number of lawyers from historically underrepresented groups considered for positions at all levels of the firm.
The Mansfield 5.0 cohort, nearly all of which have also signed on to participate in Mansfield 6.0, is the largest group to successfully complete the program. Diversity Lab said one of the most encouraging results, however, was that the program has changed the way leaders at long-term participants have made decisions and normalized conversations around diversity.
