Chicago, IL (August 3, 2015) – Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is pleased to announce the addition of Mark A. Mosby, a skilled attorney with more than 20 years of health law experience, to its Health Care and Life Sciences practice.

Mr. Mosby joins EBG from a large provider-owned health plan, where he served as Deputy General Counsel and was responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the legal department. He also served on the health plan's compliance committee and was the health plan’s principal attorney support for its government programs, health management, HIPAA, fraud and abuse, and pharmacy programs. Prior to that, he served as an attorney for both a group life and disability insurance company and a dental plan administrator. Mr. Mosby also served for more than 10 years as Director and Associate Counsel, overseeing the Regulatory Division of a national health benefits management company.

“We feel very fortunate to welcome Mark, who joins the firm with invaluable in-house experience, to our practice,” said George Breen, Chair of the firm’s National Health Care and Life Sciences Practice Steering Committee. “His vast knowledge of the issues facing provider-sponsored health plans will add further depth to the firm’s well-established capabilities and provide clients with an exceptional resource.”

EBG’s Health Care and Life Sciences practice, which was recognized by Law360 as a “Health Care Practice Group of the Year,” also recently welcomed a prominent group of health care attorneys in New York and New Jersey.
