Epstein Becker Green 15 Year Relationship with the MIDC

Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is proudly celebrating its 15-year membership anniversary with the Maryland/Israel Development Center (MIDC). “We are incredibly honored that EBG has been a long-time sponsor of the MIDC as it continues to promote and strengthen the bonds between Maryland- and Israeli-based companies” said Barry Bogage, Executive Director of the MIDC since its founding in 1992.

Like MIDC, EBG is committed to the strong ties of economic development between the United States and Israel. Lynn Shapiro Snyder, Senior Member of the firm, said, “I am a proud member of the MIDC and was a Board Member for 14 years.” Prior to joining the MIDC, Lynn was involved with other organizations supporting Israel, including the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, for decades. Meeting with Executive Director Barry Bogage in 2006 and encountering MIDC’s commitment to support Israeli health care and life sciences companies, among others, inspired Lynn to put her time, energy, and resources into the organization. Since then, Lynn and other members of the firm, including David Garland, who also Chairs EBG’s National Employment, Labor & Workforce Management Steering Committee, have traveled to Israel representing MIDC. They have spoken at numerous MIDC events, including MarketReach America, MIDC Day at the Israeli Embassy and other binational accelerator programs, where they have addressed Israeli companies about the U.S. health care industry to help them navigate and enter successfully into U.S. markets. Through MIDC, EBG has maintained and forged strong ties to the Israeli business community.
