Dallas, TX (October 21, 2022)Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is proud to announce that the firm has received the inaugural “Law Firm Excellence Award” from the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association (DHBA).

The DHBA Board of Directors selected EBG for its significant support, which has included taking substantive positions on issues of importance to the Hispanic community, advancing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, and identifying, sponsoring, and promoting Hispanic attorneys so that they may become part of the next generation of leaders in Texas.

EBG’s “generous and in-kind support for the DHBA Judicial Externship Program has opened another door to Hispanic representation in the state and federal judiciary of Dallas,” wrote Elsa Manzanares, DHBA President. “Thank you for leading this initiative and supporting the contributions of our DHBA Vice President Edward J. Loya, Jr. Your ongoing support for the DHBA and its programs made your firm the clear choice for this year's ‘Law Firm Excellence Award.’ Thank you for all you have done and will continue to do on behalf of our community.”

“Thank you for your kind words and for this recognition of the firm’s efforts,” said James P. Flynn, Managing Director of EBG. “I also want to take this opportunity to thank Edward for his contributions to our collective efforts to advance diversity within the profession and the careers of Hispanic attorneys.”

Because of his role and ongoing support, Edward will accept the award on behalf of EBG at the Association’s 17th annual black tie gala event, Noche de Luz, on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the Dallas Museum of Art.

“I humbly accept this award for EBG,” he said. “I am proud to work at a firm that supports efforts to strengthen diversity in the legal profession through words, thoughts, and, most importantly, deeds. I will continue to support the DHBA with passion and conviction as we work together to promote the social, economic, educational, professional, and civic advancement of the Hispanic community. I am grateful to EBG for supporting my work on behalf of this great organization.”
