Paul DeCamp, Member of the Firm, will present “Wage and Hour 2021: Recent Developments and What’s On the Post-Election Horizon,” at the 2020 DRI Virtual Employment and Labor Law Seminar, which runs from November 12 to 13.
This session will examine significant recent cases, legislation, and regulatory developments affecting federal and state wage and hour law. It will address the anticipated impact of the 2020 elections on substantive wage and hour standards as well as on agency enforcement in the coming year. Specific topics will include the deepening circuit split regarding the standard for FLSA decertification, the recent flurry of DOL rulemaking under Secretary Scalia, and whether the ABC test will unravel the gig economy.
After the one-hour session, Mr. DeCamp will hold a small group networking breakout question and answer period.
