Greg Keating, Member of the Firm, co-presents “Developments in Corporate Whistleblower Law: Sarbanes-Oxley, Dodd-Frank and the New Antitrust and Anti-Money Laundering Statutes” at the ABA 15th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference, in Los Angeles, CA.
The past few years have seen major developments in the ever-evolving world of Sarbanes-Oxley and Dodd-Frank whistleblower jurisprudence. SEC has issued record-breaking whistleblower awards at a breakneck pace, and has enacted the first set of major amendments to the SEC whistleblower program’s rules. Meanwhile, Congress has passed two more statutes offering protections and incentives to corporate whistleblowers: the Criminal Antitrust Anti-Retaliation Act and the Anti-Money Laundering Act. Panelists will discuss the impact of these developments and what they see as the next big things.
