Newark, NY (April 6, 2021)Epstein Becker Green (“EBG”) is pleased to announce that Denise Merna Dadika, Member of the Firm in the Employment, Labor & Workforce Management practice, has been selected as a 2021 Leader in Law by NJBiz.

A panel of independent judges with experience in the justice system chose Ms. Dadika for her outstanding dedication to the legal profession and to her community.

“I am very excited to join this class of distinguished New Jersey attorneys,” said Ms. Dadika. “Over the years, my role as an employment attorney has evolved into a trusted advisor, who strategizes with clients to address their business needs while complying with the myriad of employment laws at play. I am honored to be recognized for my work as well as my involvement in the community.”

Ms. Dadika serves as the Co-Chair of EBG’s Health Employment and Labor (“HEAL”) strategic group, which unites two of the Firm’s primary practices to guide health care clients through the challenges they face in the areas of labor, employment, workforce management, and employee benefits. When the coronavirus erupted, she led daily meetings with the HEAL group in order to identify and address the challenges and compliance issues confronting employers in light of COVID-19 and stay abreast of the ever-changing federal, state, and local laws and guidance. Through this collaborative effort, EBG has been providing clients comprehensive advice and practical solutions in real time.

Ms. Dadika serves on the Board of Camp Nejeda, a nonprofit summer camp organization which provides support for children with Type 1 Diabetes and their families. Camp Nejeda’s mission is to enhance the lives of their patients through education, empowerment, and camaraderie, while also helping children develop diabetes management skills. A volunteer Board Member, Ms. Dadika has worked closely with the camp for the last decade, serving on the personnel committee and providing pro bono employment counsel. Most recently, she has collaborated with the camp to implement COVID-19 safety procedures and protocols for the next camp season.

The Leaders in Law Honorees will be celebrated on a virtual awards presentation on Thursday, May 13, 2021.
