Dean Silverberg, a Member of the Firm in the Labor and Employment practice group in the New York office, was quoted in the September, 2008, issue of New York Law Journal Magazine, in an article providing advice for first-year associates.
On the topic of common first-year missteps and errors, Silverberg recommended that associates own-up to mistakes as soon as possible, and before those mistakes develop into larger problems.
In the article, titled, "In a Nutshell: common sense can go a long way in your legal career," Silverberg pointed out: "Unlike a fine wine, most errors or mistakes don't get any better with age. The mistakes don't un-mistake themselves."
