Epstein Becker Green Attorneys in Attendance Will Share
Experience in Developing Business Relations for
Chinese Clients Operating in the U.S.
From March 26-29, 2012, the City Club in Los Angeles will host the China — USA Synergy event, where various Chinese government officials, seven Los Angeles city mayors, and 20 American and Chinese-owned companies will meet to discuss ideas on how to improve business and market development opportunities involving both countries. The event will also honor the Chinese General Secretary for China's key cities and towns, Liao Su Ying, the China Consul General, Hon. Qiu Shaogang, along with Hong Kong-based entrepreneur Fiona Lee, Chair of TCP Holdings Ltd. Exhibitors will include local American and Chinese-owned businesses such as Epstein Becker Green, Bank of China, East West Bank, Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Pacific Alliance Bank, China Southern Airlines, ACMA Inc., and Pastilla Group, among others. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to listen to five distinguished panelists with vast experience in doing business with China in the areas of development, education, banking, and investment.

Epstein Becker Green's (EBG) China Initiative evolved from the Firm's work in counseling global multinational businesses based in Asia that wished to expand their operations to and within the U.S. The China Initiative consists of a multidisciplinary team whose members regularly travel to China, have experience working with Chinese clients, and are acutely aware of the legal and business issues facing Chinese businesses today and the emerging trends that they will face in the future. The principal EBG China Initiative team members include Dean Silverberg, Jian Hang, Robert Groban, Frank Morris, and David McFarlane.
