Marian Ladner, a Member of the Firm in the Business Law practice of Epstein Becker Green Wickliff & Hall in Houston, was noted in The Pasadena Citizen as a featured speaker on regulatory compliance issues during the University of Houston’s International Business and Logistics conference.
The article titled, “Conference explains imports, exports along Port of Houston,” reported that
Ladner shared with participants some of the major laws regulating exports from and imports into the United States. She added that a major challenge for those in international trade is educating others of the need for compliance with regulations. Often, she said, sales and manufacturing departments of companies, and even senior management, are unaware of the detailed reporting and regulatory mandates.
