Following is an excerpt:

Epstein Becker Green on Monday announced the elevation of 10 attorneys to member, taking effect at the start of 2023, with over half of this year's promotion class consisting of women.

The 2023 member class at Epstein Becker is one of the larger groups of attorneys to be promoted in recent years, slightly smaller than 2022's 11-person group but larger than the 2021 and 2020 classes that each consisted of eight attorneys.

"This is an outstanding group, and the quality and diversity of skill, experience, and thought leadership in this group is really impressive," managing director James Flynn told Law360 Pulse Monday. …

The 2023 class is spread throughout the firm's different office locations, including three promotions in Boston, two each in Chicago and Washington, D.C., and one each in New York, Los Angeles and St. Petersburg, Florida. When it comes to practice groups, the entire class is dominated by two, with six promotions within the health care and life sciences group and four employment, labor and workforce management attorneys filling out the rest.

"Though I am tempted to say, given our growth in the last several years, that this group is about 'average' size, I can't associate that word with this group in any way," Flynn said. "This group, quality and quantity wise, is about where we have been in the last few years, and we are excited about that concentrated excellence continuing to shine with each of our new partner classes."
