An employment litigation lawyer has left Littler Mendelson after 20 years to join Epstein Becker Green in Los Angeles.
Amy Ramsey has been welcomed into Epstein Becker Green (EBG)’s employment, labor and workforce management practice as a partner, bringing two decades’ experience in labor and employment litigation at Littler Mendelson.
Ramsey often defends clients on employment matters relating to wage and hour collective actions, class actions, and actions arising under the Private Attorneys General Act involving [alleged] misclassification, unpaid wages, [improper] rest and meal breaks, and tip credit misuse.
Her practice also includes guiding clients on changing employment laws and policies, compliance with wage and hour laws, and conducting training sessions for management teams covering discrimination and harassment practices.
In a statement, the chair of EBG’s employment, labor and workforce management steering committee, David Garland, said that Ramsey “is a great addition to our strong litigation team as she brings significant employment litigation experience that will complement our existing portfolio of services, especially in the wage and hour space.”
Ramsey also expressed excitement at working alongside previous joiners such as Jimmy Oh, who was hired by EBG from Littler Mendelson as a partner in Chicago, in January last year.
