Maxine Neuhauser, Member of the Firm, presents "How Not to Get Sued" for the Alliance for the Betterment of Citizens with Disabilities (ABCD).

Thirty six percent to fifty three percent of small businesses (defined by the US Census Bureau as businesses with revenue ranging from $1 to over $40 million and from 100 to over 1500 employees) are sued every year. Forty three percent of all small businesses are threatened with a lawsuit every year. About forty five percent of small businesses are currently involved in litigation. And ninety percent of all businesses experience a lawsuit at some point in their lifespan.

Mickey discusses practical tips for avoiding the most common errors which can potentially result in a lawsuit against an agency.

"Enjoying what you do is the foundation to creating a meaningful career and satisfying life. I have had the good fortune of a rewarding and purposeful career—and, happily, one that my wonderful family is also proud of.”

- Mickey Neuhauser
