Epstein Becker Green seeks to help Chinese companies conduct business and make investments in, and immigrate to, the United States. Epstein Becker Green is honored to have been selected to represent many of the largest Chinese banks that have been granted branch status in the United States. The firm also represents other companies headquartered in China in the health care and life sciences, energy, extractive, logistics, financial, and shipping sectors, among others.

Epstein Becker Green's China practice evolved from the firm's work in counseling global multinational businesses based in Asia that wished to expand their operations to and within the United States. The China practice consists of a multidisciplinary team whose members have traveled to China, have experience working with Chinese clients, and are acutely aware of the legal and business issues facing Chinese businesses today and the emerging trends that they will face in the future. Additionally, members of the China practice provide advice and counsel to Chinese clients concerning labor and employment, immigration, litigation, health care and life sciences, real estate, and business law matters; have been featured in interviews with China Central Television and Bloomberg TV-Asia; and have submitted articles about legal issues for Chinese businesses and multinationals that have appeared in various publications, such as the U.S.-China Business Council's China Business Review.

Members of the China practice have spoken at universities and conferences in China. They have also given simultaneous presentations in Chinese and English and reached out to the greater Chinese business community by organizing various public and private seminars consisting of both formal and informal presentations.

In addition, Epstein Becker Green works with Chinese trade associations and U.S.-based Chinese chambers of commerce from New York to California to put on a series of seminars in the United States. Our seminars feature written materials in Chinese and bilingual PowerPoint slide presentations and have been presented to members of the Chinese business communities not only in New York City but also in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Houston. These seminars, which feature our attorneys from across the United States, assist Chinese companies with charting their way through U.S. and state laws.

Epstein Becker Green has developed strategic alliances with premier Chinese firms, partnered in educational programs, and engaged in outreach to the local business community with such Chinese law firms as King & Wood Mallesons, Jun He Law Offices, and the Zhong Lun Law Firm, among other leading Chinese legal practitioners.

Whether traveling to China or advising clients here in the United States, Epstein Becker Green is deeply committed to developing relationships of trust and confidence with businesses based, and companies doing business, in China and helping them safely navigate the U.S. legal landscape.
