Our team filed a mid-build attestation for a health system seeking eligibility for favorable Medicare Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) reimbursement for its relocated off-campus provider-based cancer infusion center. Following initial receipt of a “fail” decision from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ mid-build auditor, Epstein Becker Green successfully argued for the client’s OPPS reimbursement eligibility, resulting in a savings of approximately $25 million.
