Assisted Health Center with Investigation, Response and Reporting of Ransomware Attack

Epstein Becker Green conducted an incident response for a U.S.-based health center that was the subject of a ransomware attack. We assisted the health center by coordinating a forensic investigation, negotiation with the hackers, coordinating claims with cyber insurance carriers, cooperating with law enforcement, and supporting breach notifications to affected individuals and Federal and State regulators.
