8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Panel Discussion
Health care organizations, like many other organizations, routinely encounter legal disputes. Disputes impacting health care organizations, however, can involve labor and employment issues, medical staff matters, peer review issues, physician arrangements, practice management conflicts, payor/provider disputes, and a host of other issues. Health care entities are encouraged to resolve these disputes, which are often highly complex, in the most expeditious, inexpensive, and reasonable manner.
Our panelists will discuss how alternative dispute resolution may be used by health care organizations to provide a prompt, economical, and just means of resolving disputes involving employment, health care operations, health care treatment, and other related issues. The panel discussion will focus on effective techniques when mediating or arbitrating health care disputes and will identify opportunities and circumstances for adopting and implementing successful alternative dispute procedures.
You should attend this program if you are a chief executive officer, a chief financial officer, a chief operating officer, an administrator, a manager, a compliance officer, in-house counsel, a risk manager, or a human resource coordinator of any health care organization, including an academic medical center, an ambulance provider, a clinical laboratory, a DMEPOS supplier, a hospital, a long-term care facility, a managed care organization, an MA Plan, a Part D Plan, a pharmaceutical manufacturer, a physician group, or a skilled nursing facility.
