Former Littler Employment Litigator Amy Ramsey Joins Epstein Becker Green in Los Angeles

Los Angeles (September 8, 2020)Epstein Becker Green (“EBG”) is pleased to announce that former Littler partner Amy Ramsey has joined as a Member of the Firm in the Employment, Labor & Workforce Management practice in Los Angeles. Ms. Ramsey, an accomplished labor and employment litigator, brings two decades of experience developing innovative and practical solutions to help solve employment-related issues.

Ms. Ramsey has become known for developing strategies that reduce the scope and value of cases to minimize the expense and business disruption of litigation and to expedite resolution for her clients. She has particular skill defending wage and hour collective actions, class actions, and Private Attorneys General Act (“PAGA”) actions involving alleged misclassification, unpaid wages, improper meal and rest periods, and improper use of the tip credit.

“We are thrilled to welcome another talented attorney to our national practice as we continue to expand our capabilities, particularly when it comes to helping our clients navigate the challenges of wage and hour and PAGA litigation in California,” said David W. Garland, Chair of EBG’s Employment, Labor & Workforce Management Steering Committee. “Amy is a great addition to our strong litigation team as she brings significant employment litigation experience that will complement our existing portfolio of services, especially in the wage and hour space.”

Additionally, Ms. Ramsey regularly advises employers on how to stay compliant with rapidly evolving employment laws and regulations. She often audits employers’ practices for compliance with wage and hour laws, and conducts training programs for management on important topics such as the prevention of discrimination and harassment and on wage and hour policies and practices.

“EBG has an exceptional group of smart, collegial, and collaborative attorneys who are devoted to client service excellence,” said Ms. Ramsey. “I look forward to working with them and some of my former Littler colleagues who have joined EBG in recent years, including Jimmy Oh.”
