SENIOR ASSOCIATE: Health Care & Life Sciences (Transactional)

The Newark office of Epstein Becker & Green, P.C. is seeking an attorney to work at the level of a senior associate to join its Health Care and Life Sciences Practice.  Prefer candidates interested in the Newark, New Jersey, New York City, or Washington, DC, office locations, however, will consider candidates in any of the Firm’s existing offices.

Candidates should have a minimum of six years of relevant corporate transactional experience and an interest in focusing on the health care industry.  Candidates should possess strong academic credentials, have excellent communication and writing skills, have excellent drafting skills, and have strong corporate transactional/M&A experience.  Preferred candidates should have prior M&A experience on the buyer side and seller side (such as experience drafting and negotiating asset, stock, merger, employment, escrow, and other agreements typically relevant in these types of transactions).  Familiarity with applicable health care regulatory issues in such transactions (such as Stark, fraud/abuse, and the like) is preferred, but not required.  Ideal candidates should exhibit the highest level of legal and practical problem solving skills, strong oral presentation and drafting ability, and client relations acumen. The firm is looking for individuals who enjoy working in a team environment and are seeking opportunities for growth and the desire to work on a broad range of business transactions in the health care industry.  Juris Doctorate degree required.
