Independently Ranked by Senior In-House Counsel During Acritas’ Global Survey of Standout Legal Talent

Washington D.C. (January 19, 2018)Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is pleased to announce that Patricia M. Wagner, Chief Privacy Officer and Member of the Firm in the Health Care and Life Sciences and Litigation practices, was named a 2018 Top 13 Female Acritas Star. The Acritas’ global Sharplegal study revealed the most nominated female talent, those lawyers who received nominations from three or more individual clients – an exclusive group of just 13 women.

Acritas, a leading legal industry research firm that provides business intelligence to the global legal marketplace, spent the last three years identifying more than 8,000 individual lawyers nominated from 4,300 clients around the world. Participants were asked to name their go-to legal advisors. Only about 8 percent of the lawyers named Acritas Stars received nominations from more than one client.

One client nomination described Ms. Wagner as an “expert at the top of her field” who’s “very practical and … always picks up the phone.”

“It comes as no surprise to us that Trish is included in this selective group of star talent,” said Mark E. Lutes, Chair of EBG. “Her initiative, knowledge, experience and dedication proves to our clients’ time and time again that she is an invaluable legal advisor, a problem solver and a go-to resource for strategic business counsel.”

At EBG, Ms. Wagner represents clients in antitrust matters in front of the Federal Trade Commission and the U.S. Department of Justice, as well as state antitrust authorities. She advises clients on issues related to HIPAA privacy and security, and associated to state licensure and regulatory requirements.
