Washington, DC (July 7, 2014) – The national law firm of Epstein Becker Green (EBG) today announced that Mark Hamelburg, Member of the Health Care and Life Sciences practice, in the Washington, D.C., office has accepted the position of Senior Vice President of Federal Programs for America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP). He will begin working with AHIP in August.

AHIP is the national trade association representing the health insurance industry. Its members provide health and supplemental benefits to more than 200 million Americans through employer-sponsored coverage, the individual insurance market, and public programs such as Medicare and Medicaid.

Mark Lutes, Chair of Epstein Becker Green's Board of Directors and a Member of the Health Care and Life Science practice, said, "Epstein Becker Green is proud to have its alumni serve in prominent positions within health care government agencies, providers, and policy organizations.
